Welcome to the First Environmental Awards 2023!
The World Environment Day (WED) is celebrated on the 5th of June every year. To mark this event, the Ministry of Environment, Solid Waste Management and Climate Change is organising an Environmental Awards 2023 to recognise the best environmental initiatives of stakeholders in various sectors, both private and public.
This Award Ceremony will reward efforts in taking sustainability measures and best environmental initiatives to inter-alia reduce carbon footprint, optimize use of resources, minimize waste generation and curb down environmental nuisances. In this respect, 11 sectors have been retained for the Awards Ceremony. Each sector comprises two or more categories, resulting in a total of 28 categories. Three nominees, including two runners-up and a winner, for each category will be rewarded.
Application is now open for participation.
